Xmas gift

Made a painting of Jack Skellington for a family friend. He better appreciate it, it was either this or Jack slippers that could've been too small for him. Ink and More ink, 3.5"x 7.5". So far just sketching, more paintings hopefully.

End of the Semester...

So today was my last day of the semester. Honestly, I don't think I passed every class with flying colors. And I'm also scared out of my mind about what my teachers, whom I respect and love very much, told me about my lack of consistency in my work during the review.

But at least I'm doing something right, they also said that I'm not afraid to try something new and that I have strong ideas. Every time I keep telling myself they said these things, it makes me feel a little better each time. Also, I just have to keep telling myself that all of my friends have different styles, so I shouldn't try to be like any of them, but be the best version of myself I can be. Honestly, I'm jealous of a few of them, especially those who got the offer to sell their stuff at an upcoming auction. But I hate that I feel that way, because without these people, I would go crazy at school. I just gotta work on my style over the break, and I need to stop SECOND GUESSING MYSELF AT EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!!
A good friend of mine http://tchrist.blogspot.com/ said that I need to identify the reason why I always hate my work. So far, I think it has to do with how I never feel like I did my best. But I want to figure this out more during the break. Along with this friend, all of my friends and instructors are amazing artists and even more amazing people, I love them all and I'm thankful I get to go to school with them. I'm pumped for the break, I'm gonna try to have faith in myself that I will get better.

IF: Crunchy

Last WOW of the semester *tear* . This week was crunchy, and I did this around one of my favorite activities during the colder weather, stopping on dead leaves and litsen to them crunch under my feet. Best part about walking home everyday. I think it's the dryer equivelent to stepping in puddles.

Sketches

Just some sketches for my Drawing Fantastic class. They were supposed to be due before Thanksgiving but I wasn't at the last class.
